CyberGrad: Cybersecurity Training Software

Cybergrad was a custom built Learning Management Software commissioned by the Jordanian goverment to help train their employees in the field of cyber security. The training software allows teachers to assign lessons and quizzes, for students to view and work through those assignments, and for all users to manage their accounts and coursework progress.

This custom LMS had an ambitious project timeline - 8 months from inception to project launch. My responsibility was to design and develop new features for a cyber security training application.

In addition to assisting with the app's UI/UX, I was responsible for creating the logo and a set of custom graphics that act as badges when students pass a lesson block.

I was also tasked with creating original new graphic badge sets for the red and blue team courses.

Scrolld: Red Team Operation Logging Tool

The Scrolld software applications enables users to gather and log red team cybersecurity operation details for auditing purposes. The user can log into any number of selected operations and view information like logs, log chains, reports, attachments, and more.

The majority of my time was spent working on a new Analytics section of the Scrolld application. This included reports, event stats, customer and personnel stats, logistics, and more.

My responsibility was to improve and design features.

Steel City Collectibles: Online Store

This project did not use any CSS frameworks, but custom built styling and media queries for a fully responsive website.

My responsibility was to design and develop the user interface and experience for a new e-commerce storefront, from initial concept to implementation.

I also created and ran Google shopping and display remarketing campaigns that resulted in a greatly improved return on ad spend. Improved search engine visibility which also helped to increase monthly customer visits and monthly recurring revenue.

Senitron: Real-time Automated Inventory Tracking

A series of physical installations that utilize RFID tracking antennas to monitor either a retail or warehouse's inventory. I was responsible for both designing and developing multiple user interfaces for the inventory tracking software.

The RFID tag tracking system delivers a hands-free solution for tracking items. This allows staff to stay on top of inventory levels 24/7 with extremely high accuracy. After installing hundreds of RFID tracking antennas at one of Intuitive's San Jose warehouses, a back-end developer and myself implemented a custom software application to track inventory for their da Vinci surgical robot system. I designed and developed the user interface and experience. The 200,000 square feet warehouse enables asset tracking with excellent granularity down to particular shelves, aisles, and shelf-levels.

American Apparel stores traditionally used a manual item count system which takes roughly 240 man-hours per month to keep track of per store, leaving lots of potential for human error. After automating their inventory process using custom-built software to track RFID tags, employees are now able to monitor inventory statistics in real-time as well as locate specific items at any time.

For Verizon I helped develop a prototype dashboard for Verizon's many retail locations keep track of their in-store inventory in real time and 24/7. I was responsible for designing and developing the UI for the employees to search their store's inventory.

Covisus DTEK: Counterfeit Detection System

The DTEK system scans electronic components with the purpose of analyzing surface patterns and comparing them to an original sample to identify counterfeit parts. I designed and developed the UI that displays the results of four unique counterfeit tests done to help identify the electronic component as either original or counterfeit.

This was my first software development project. I also helped with the conceptual design of the physical hardware.
